Entrance gate. Khatia entrance gate falls on Mandla district & Mukki
on Balaghat district of MP State. From Khatia Entrance gate one can
explore Kisli, Kanha & Sarhi zones of Kanha national park &
Mukki entrance gate covers Mukki range of the national park. Khatia
Entrance gate is well connected from Jabalpur & Nagpur & Mukki
entrance gate is from Jabalpur, Raipur & Nagpur.

Safari Details:
04 X 04 Open Jeeps with groups of tourists, individuals accompanied by an
experienced naturalist are allowed into the park at fixed timings. There
are 04 different zones at Kanha National Park for doing the Jeep Safari
rides. Kisli, Mukki, Kanha & Sarhi. The entrance ticket you can book
online or through travel agents or tour operator or if available you also
can get this from the booking window at the entrance gate of the national
park. Vehicle charges & guide fee are the other expenses which are
separate then entrance ticket. At Kanha National park in a single day jeep
safari can be done 02 times.

Every Wednesday. Morning & Afternoon both the shift remain close on Holi festival (In

3 major core zones to cover in the Safari for next 2 days
Tala: The largest zone, and the most popular choice for
tiger safaris. It's considered the best zone for tiger sightings, with
the highest odds of seeing one.
Magadhi: A nearby zone with good chances of seeing tigers,
but it's on the edge of the park.
Khitauli: A less commonly visited zone by tigers, but it's
more picturesque and great for bird watching.
Day 2: First Safari Experience
